Dear Pharmacist,
Considering the present scenario & challenges ahead in PHARMA sector, state of survival & acknowledgment of our existence in the profession PHARMA world & society, with your kind support & blessing of almighty, we have initiated movement of upliftment of Pharmacy profession.
In last two months, we have made our sincere efforts to make several presentations to various ministries of Hon. Gov. of Gujarat, Gujarat FDA, ACPC (T) & GTU for related issues like new job opportunities, regulatory issues, admission problems, syllabus & results of examinations etc. The issues are briefly summarised as under:
1. Involvement of pharmacist in 108 ambulance emergency services in State like Himachalpradesh & Uttarakhand
2. Involvement of pharmacist in Private Hospitals as in Govt. Hospitals
3. Establishment of Pharmacy University
4. Addition of Pharmacy Subject in GPSC
5. Addition of Eligibility Qualification of B. Pharm. in Forest officer recruitment
6. Pharmacist recruitment in PHCs, CHCs, NRHM
7. Revision of Curriculum pattern of Pharmacy (B. Pharm with various specializations)
8. Implementation of concept of Community Pharmacist & Hospital Pharmacist in Health Sector
9. Implementation of Pharma Clinic concept in the rural/interior area of the state for dispensing the OTC drugs.
10. Involvement of Pharmacist in in TB, HIV, Malnutrition Govt. & WHO project.
11. Involvement of Pharmacist in Prescription evaluation/bill evaluation in Mediclaim Approval Agencies .
12. Awareness of the role of Pharmacist through “JAGO GRAHAK JAGO”.
13. Central Govt. issues related to amending the DCA, Autonomous status of Pharmaceutical Industries etc.
But we realised that the efforts are insufficient as the presentations are at the small level & inadequate all level backing (like political, mass gathering etc).
We want the involvement of all the registered pharmacist/students of Gujarat state. We also want to communicate all our sincere efforts to all registered pharmacists/students.
In endeavour of improving our deficiency, we request you all pharmacist to register in the following link as register pharmacist.
