Greetings from Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management

It is our pleasure to invite scholarly articles from you for our bi-annual refereed journal Gavesana Journal of Management. Our college Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM) is an autonomous B-School approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for the award of Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). It was founded in 1993, to train young men and women for management roles.

You could contribute any of the following - research articles, book reviews, literature survey and summary of Ph.D thesis (completed recently) on various topics of management field. The Journal has ISSN No. and has been registered with Registrar of Newspaper for India (RNI).

The selected paper will attract honorarium of Rs.2,500/- The last date for the submission of article is 15th December 2013.

The detailed guidelines for submission of papers are given below.

GUIDELINES

1. For Submission:· COVERING LETTER : Title of the paper, Author’s Name, Designation, Organization, Official Address, Personal Address, Contact Numbers (Official & Personal) and e-mail address.

2. ABSTRACT : Should contain in brief – Objectives, Research Questions / Hypothesis, Methodology, Findings and 5-6 Keywords.

Word Limit : 250-300 words.

2. FULL PAPER

Soft copy via email.

Format : A-4 Size, MS-Word
Word Limit : Not to exceed 5000 words

Font : Times New Roman

Font Size : Heading – 14, Text – 12

Margin : 1.5 – inch on all four sides

Line spacing : 2

3. Format of the Paper :

Definitions : Paper should be clear and concise with proper definitions for specialized terms.

Sections : Introduction, Objectives, Research Questions/ Hypothesis, Methodology, Findings/ Results, Conclusions/ Recommendations and Limitations, 5-6 Key Words.

Annexure : Tables, Charts, Graphs, Quotations, Equations, Articles should be numbered, cited and referenced properly.

Abbreviations : Any Abbreviations used should be written in full at first followed by the abbreviations in the parenthesis.

Referencing : The Harvard System should be used in referencing.

Foot Notes : Should be numbered consecutively in the text and should be typed on same page they are denoted.

4. Declaration : Author must declare originality of work. The article should not have been published or be submitted for publication elsewhere.

5. The Journal does not charge any processing fee.

6. Author will receive one complimentary copy of the journal.

7. Editorial Board’s decision will be final.

8. The copyright of all accepted papers will vest with VJIM.
