| Subject: Invitation for National Level Faculty Development Program on Analytical Techniques for Research. Dear Sir / Madam, “AURO UNIVERSITY is a progressive center for integrated learning and leadership, where the mind, body and spirit are aligned and prepared to embark on a journey of lifelong enrichment for both, the individual and the community.” AURO UNIVERSITY has been established with the idea of imparting quality education to all. In its endeavor to deliver education for the real world, the University will encourage, empower and enable the students to unlock their highest potential. We are committed in making AURO UNIVERSITY a source of inspiration and knowledge. In its endeavor for academic excellence AURO UNIVERSITY is organizing aONE Week Faculty Development Program on “Analytical Techniques for Research” in collaboration with Global Network of Business Researchers (GNBR). GNBR carries out a portfolio of activities which include providing training and mentoring programs to junior researchers; organizing seminars and conferences based on research outcomes; and publishing research output through various types of publications, including working papers, books, policy briefs and the Forum newsletter. The focus of the FDP at AURO UNIVERSITY shall be on enhancement of research orientation amongst faculty members/research scholars and amelioration of quality research. The workshop will provide an interactive platform to the researchers to enhance understanding of advance statistical techniques as well as providing hands–on experience in analyzing data using latest software’s viz. PASW, AMOS etc. for statistical analysis. The rationale behind such FDP is an understanding that research seldom receives the attention it deserves in most academic institutions in India. Methodologies are often conflated with methods and techniques of data analysis, with limited understanding of the underlying logic. Even among techniques, use of quantitative data analysis is seen to be more scientific, more valid than other methods. We are extending our cordial invitation to the members of the teaching fraternity/ industry representatives for participating in this one week FDP on Analytical Techniques for Research. The workshop intends not only to enhance participants’ knowledge on the subject, but also to strengthen their skills in data gathering, information analysis and effective presentation of results. The purpose of this communication is to request your good offices to nominate at most two faculty members for your Institution and oblige.
