PANHALA FORT, KOLHAPUR

Panhala Fort (literally "the home of serpents") is located

in Panhalla, 20 kilometres northwest of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India.

Panhala fort was built between 1178 and 1209 CE,

built by the Shilahara ruler Bhoja II.
