Inviting MBA colleges to register for Management Joint Personality Assessment Test, M-JPAT, 2013-14 program+

Dear Madam/Sir,
It gives me immense pleasure to announce that the first edition of M-JPAT, which was held last year, saw participation of students from across 20 States in India. M-JPAT helped these MBA aspirants secure admission to 49 MBA colleges offering 92 programs thereby fulfilling their dream of pursuing a business education.

M-JPAT received appreciation from the entire MBA fraternity for the unique program design, cost-effective processes and simplicity in execution.

M-JPAT as a platform helped both the students and participating MBA colleges fulfill the requirement of the second round process of admission to MBA colleges at the click of a button. The entire process was administered online leading to transparency and better information sharing.

The highlight of the M-JPAT program was a single application form, a single GD/PI roundand a unified admission process.

The students became eligible for admissions to all the 49 MBA colleges under the M-JPAT umbrella by just filling a single application form and appearing for a single GD/PI. The process helped to bridge the gap between MBA colleges and MBA aspirants. It brought the aspirants close to their dream MBA College by helping them make the best choice. The associated MBA colleges received complete performance mapping of all the participating students thereby making a judicious selection.

True to last year, the mission continues to remain the same: "To provide a cost-effective, efficient and an easy approach to the Second Round Application, Selection and Admission Process for admissions to MBA colleges."

M-JPAT is one of the many ingenious programs conceptualized by Envista Mindmap Services (P) Ltd. The organization, an investee company of BENNETT COLEMAN & CO. LTD. (The Times Group), is engaged in providing comprehensive educational testing and evaluation services.

We have launched the 2nd edition of M-JPAT beginning last week of June 2013 for which the student registration process has already begun and the response received till now has been very encouraging. The key differences with respect to our last year operations are outlined as follows:
  • The Student registration process has been pre-empted; the registration began the last week of June as compared to the 3rd week of November for the last edition.
  • This year students from neighbouring countries who are interested in pursuing an MBA program in India are also being targeted. Apart from India, the M-JPAT concept and its benefits are being communicated in Afghanistan, Bangladesh , Bhutan , Malaysia , Maldives , Nepal , Nigeria , Sri Lanka and the middle-east region.
  • Student-College-CONNECT module has been introduced. This module (an integrated communication portal of M-JPAT) allows the associated colleges to send mailers to the registered students once every 15 days and provides students the opportunity to post their queries to colleges.
  • The second round process consisting of GD and PI will be conducted in India as well as International locations.

M-JPAT 2013-14 requires extensive cooperation and participation from MBA colleges for the successful implementation of this program.

The window for MBA college registration has commenced from the 1st week of August 2013. We request your college to earnestly register for M-JPAT 2013-14. We will deem it a privilege to have your esteemed institution participate with us in our endeavour. Please find enclosed the Process Handbook for M-JPAT with all the relevant information, details and facts.

We look forward to your participation in a bid to collectively transform the Indian MBA education space.

Please feel free to contact us for further clarification or queries.

With warm regards,

Globalization, Distance and Disease: Spatial Health Disparities in Rural India
by Anirudh Krishna and Kripa Ananthpur, Volume 4 Issue 1, April 2013
Poverty in India cannot be reduced substantially without first making affordable and accessible quality health care available to all (Gupta and Mitra 2004; Krishna 2010). Removing spatial disparities is an essential part of getting health care right. In addition to taking account of disparities arising on account of gender, caste and wealth, efforts aimed at improving health equity in rural India must compensate for the effects of distance to town. Read an abstract
