(iNTERNATIONAL TEST OF ENGLISH PROFICIENCY)
A newly launched internationally recognized industry relevant English
certification.
I am pleased to inform you that your institution can join hands with us to
become a recipient of iTEP Pilot Project (an industry relevant activity).
The Pilot Project is intended to help selected Indian Colleges and
Universities check the English proficiency level of their students before
they take on their campus placements & establish a required proficiency
level with improvement measures.
The award is for 1/4th class from each semester of departments like
Management, IT, Engineering, Linguistics & Commerce to participate in the
administration of the full 'iTEP Corporate' test, FREE OF COST. iTEP
(International Test of English Proficiency) is an innovative Internet-based
English Proficiency test with 'Internationally Recognized Certification'.
The test is administered in less time (90 minutes) and at a significantly
lower cost ($99) than the other internationally recognized tests. iTEP
measures all key skills - Reading, Listening, Grammar, Writing, and Speaking
- of test-takers who are non-native speakers of English.
iTEP sets a new standard for scheduling flexibility and results
availability, and is accepted by the admissions offices of several hundred
US colleges and universities. Many intensive English programs throughout
the USA also use iTEP for placement, assessment, and exit testing, as the
Academic Credentials Evaluation Institute (ACEI) and Accrediting Council for
Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) recognize iTEP as an effective
tool to validate the curriculum of intensive English programs. Moreover,
iTEP certification that your students will opt for (free of cost) has been
taken into consideration by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of
India for making it a national certification for English benchmarking across
the nation for Govt. jobs as well as other relevant purposes. The agreement
is in a final stage of development.
Upon successful participation in the iTEP Pilot Project, your institution
will receive a detailed & combines report of the individual results. In
addition, participating students will receive a detailed official iTEP score
card, Ability Guide and a formal International Certificate as attached. The
awarded project is valued over lacs of rupees as iTEP will bear the cost of
$99 for each exam. A maximum of 200 exams can be allotted to an institute &
it values over Rs. 10 lacs + other administrative expenditure but the same
is FREE OF COST for your college, if you register before 31st March.

FYI, iTEP is used by corporation like Microsoft, Adidas, IBM, Philips, JP
Morgan, McDonald', Oxford Associates, Kaplan Online Uni., ING, FM Global
(Brazil), BASF (Germany), Saudi French Bank, 3M, Caterpillar & many such
MNCs in their training & recruitment process.
