The Summer School offers an excellent opportunity for an intensive week of working with PhD students (and in exceptional cases, senior masters' students with demonstrated research excellence) and research fellows from diverse academic backgrounds. The Summer School is a forum for meeting new people and really get acquainted with them. It is also a place to start deep collaboration between scholars working on the similar issues.
The program will include keynote speeches, individual group activities, hands-on activities, and sharig of research with aim to get feedback and generate new ideas. Students will also have opportunity to discuss their research in individual meetings with mentors.

APPLICATION
Summer School enrollment is in two phases: preliminary enrollment and registration. All applicant must submit a freeform description (max. 3 pages) about their research interest including following information:
* In which track will you participate? (Check the Program section for more information about the tracks.)
* Subject of your PhD studies and/or research interest
* Goals of your research and current situation
* Your expectations concerning the summer school
* List of your major publications (if any)

The maximum number of selected students is expected to be 30.

REGISTRATION FEES:
Full Time Student not attending ICALT2013: $300
Full Time Student attending ICALT2013: $260
Fee includes: lectures, tutoring materials, accommodation, lunches, dinners, and social program (welcome dinner and a trip).
